Prati is displaying Digi Compact, the converting and finishing line for self-adhesive labels and digitally printed flexible packaging, with a JetFx digital embellishment unit, at Labelexpo Americas.

This “small but mighty” machine can combine analog and digital technology on a wide range of materials from 12-350 microns. After capturing the audience at drupa by converting in a roll-to-stack configuration, the “Messages from the Prati Galaxy” into Prati philosophical cards, is now being shown to the Labelexpo Americas audience.

It is being exhibited with a cutting unit and a rewinder, which is able to perform converting of self-adhesive material from roll-to-roll for the rewinding of large rolls and subsequent finishing passage on the control table (Q/C machine), as well as roll-to-roll finishing in a single pass. Furthermore, the rewinding shafts, from 25.4-152mm in diameter, are interchangeable. This configuration also includes a cutting module for the division of tracks and/or the removal of side trims.

In addition to being ergonomic and compact, it is characterized by a reduced paper passage and with a view to environmental sustainability, ensuring a reduction of waste during the setup phase.

Simple to use by the operator, the unit has several functions managed directly and autonomously by the machine.

As for flexibility, Digi Compact is also a multitasking machine, as it allows many types of processing (roll-to-roll, roll-to-sheet and roll-to-stack), all-in-one.
